Dead Space & G. Felix – Elevate [South Of Saturn]

Having released on its parent label, Dead Space and G. Felix team up again to jointly debut on Repopulate Mars offshoot South of Saturn this December.

While both Brazilian G. Felix and USA’s Dead Space boast a steaming catalogue individually, their complimentary musical alliance has them returning to the studio once again. Following on from their collaborative release on Lee Foss’ mainstay label Repopulate Mars and the recent ‘Take It Easy’ EP on Desert Hearts, the formidable international production duo do it again, serving up another dancefloor rustler.

‘Elevate’ shuffles with bouncing hi-hats, evolving pads, a thundering sub bass pattern and an infectiously groovy vocal hook that pushes up the energy. Next, ‘RTB’ swings with a chopped vocal, rattling down pitched bells, shimmering cymbals and suspense educing filters, all glued together with a bubbling deep-toned riff.
