Miss Monique, GENESI, Carl Bee – Nomacita [AETERNA]
After an incredible 2024, AETERNA Records returns in 2025 with a tried and tested peak set mainstay ‘Nomacita’, a collaboration between some of the most exciting names rising through dance music, Miss Monique, GENESI and Carl Bee. Originally tested in summer 2024 across the dancefloors of Ibiza, the US and the world, Nomacita has been tweaked and perfected to become a highlight record in label boss, Meduza’s setlist.
The heavy driving beat, trippy distorted stuttering vocal and rolling melodic perfectly encapsulate the elements which make these collaborating artists the hottest properties in dance music, all appearing on the uppermost echelons of record labels with the DJ support to match from the likes of Solomun, Adam Beyer, Joris Voorn, Marco Corola and of course Meduza. Between them Miss Monique, GENESI and Carl Bee boast beyond 200 million cumulative streams and have galvanised and controlled the dancefloors of the worlds most prestigious events including Junction 2, Tomorrowland, Hi Ibiza and Drumsheds.
Nomacita is a self assured, driving record for the purist of dancefloor ravers, with its rasping synths and relentless vocals providing a cover of aural assault across a range of frequencies whilst the heavy drums cut through, propelling the record, stomping through with peak energy. 2025 is well and truly underway with this release.
Speaking about the record Miss Monique stated “When Genesi and Carl Bee sent me the track I was blown away how cool, fresh and awesome it was. I offered to make some changes and we finished it together. I’ve been playing Nomacita for the last few months and I can see that people are already loving it – it’s incredible!”
GENESI commented that “This track is one of my favourites, with the cool, manipulated vocals and it feels like an evolution of some of the other tracks I’ve released, such as ‘Done’, also on AETERNA, so it’s great to release this there too. It’s been a real highlight of my live sets over the summer and some of the support and videos I’ve seen have been incredible also. Working on some of the finer elements of the track with Miss Monique and Carl Bee has really elevated this track, with everyone adding their style to the finished article.”
When asked about the record Carl Bee stated “From my end, this collab started with Meduza hooking me up with GENESI after I was sending him some music. Matt had suggested that we should do something together. I knew GENESI from his music of course so eventually we got in touch , shared some music and ideas and “Nomacita” started to take shape which then Miss Monique came on board as well and together we now have a club monster.
