1001 Tracklists Joins Forces With R/Hood, For Celebration of Their ‘Top 101 Producers’ and ‘Future Of Dance-Initiative’

1001Tracklists, a leading authority in electronic music, is thrilled to announce a groundbreaking collaboration with R/HOOD, a global platform dedicated to empowering emerging talent, from amongst others minority communites. For the first time in history, these two influential forces will unite at Amsterdam Dance Event 2024 for a combined “Top 101 Producers” and “Future of Dance” event.

This unprecedented partnership aims to create a more inclusive and diverse celebration of electronic music, reflecting 1001Tracklists’ ongoing commitment to fostering equality and representation in the industry. The “Future of Dance” initiative, which celebrates talent from underrepresented communities, including POC, LGBTQ+, female DJs, and now with underrepresented genres of electronic music, the list will be expanded further to champion diversity.

For the first time, artists from underrepresented genres in electronic music will be included in the “Future of Dance” list, regardless of their background, ethnicity and/or gender. This expansion demonstrates 1001Tracklists’ dedication to recognizing and supporting a wider range of talented artists in electronic music.

While the “Top 101 Producers” is a data-driven ranking, the “Future of Dance” is a curated selection of artists who have made significant contributions to the electronic music scene. To be eligible for inclusion, artists must demonstrate a high level of support and recognition within the industry.
