Spotlight EP (Vol. 1) [AETERNA]

In conjunction with the well received Spotlight series on their YouTube, where Meduza shine the light on some of their favourite resident DJs across the world to the 1.5million strong subscriber base, Spotlight EP Vol.1 is the first in a series culminating some of Meduza’s favourite emerging talents in dance music.

Headed up by a powerhouse collaboration between the rapidly ascendant Canadian Simon Doty, and the highly rated British duo Maur the Spotlight EP is a stand out compilation of club, stage and festival worthy records, all personally road tested and executive produced by Meduza, in the the never ending search for great music and fresh artists to showcase on AETERNA Records.

‘Beckoning’ see’s the signature sonics and sounds of Simon Doty and Maur combine to make an atmospheric and powerful collaboration. Tigerblind continue the big show energy with their record ‘Rock the House’ delivering a thumping, soundtrack for the dancefloors. Newcomers Lesgo, bring their Italian flair to the EP with ‘No Balance’ with its driving synth lines and euphoric breakdown and finally, AETERNA welcomes Dark Heart to the Spotlight with his thumping dancefloor mover ‘Everybody’, rounding off a truly monumental first volume for the Spotlight series.

Collating this first group of artists has been amazing, hearing their passion and developments of their records from the first demo, to being able to play them at Tomorrowland and EDC all the way to finally releasing them to the world”
