DOCUMENT Bristol announces incredible run of shows for Q4 2024 inc Bru-C, Charlotte Plank, Sammy Virji and more
After a belting debut run of shows earlier this year that included performances from Hybrid Minds, Hot Since 82 and 2ManyDJ’s, Bristol’s colossal multi-purpose venue DOCUMENT returns with more dates for Q4. There’s something for every raver in these lineups, which feature big names in bass, techno, disco, drum ‘n’ bass and beyond.
The opening event on Friday 27th September sees bass music mainstay Bru-C lead a lineup of old and new talent, from veteran jungle MC General Levy to fresh names such as London-based producer/DJ Alcemist and vocalist, Charlotte Plank.
The following weekend, on Friday 4th October, there’ll be a headline show from contemporary UKG king Sammy Virji. Support acts for this one are yet to be confirmed, so be sure to keep an eye out. The intensity rises on 26th October, with an absolutely massive DnB Allstars 360 day party for Halloween, they will be revealing their stacked line up for the event later this week.
Friday 1st November is one for the tech house heads, as Solid Grooves co-founder PAWSA, Wheats, and Lindsey Matthews roll through. Then, on the 9th November, it’s time to don your shiniest outfit and dance your way to the discotheque, as everyone’s favourite groovy party-starters Glitterbox host a day party, with an exciting lineup to be announced. Another day party takes place on Saturday 23rd November, as renowned bass-focused club night Worried About Henry returns to DOCUMENT on 23rd November, bringing the mighty DIMENSION and other support acts to the space.
As we enter the chilly month of December, a range of brands from different corners of dance music will deliver their own flavours, with all the lineups yet to be announced. Iconic bass imprint UKF comes down on Friday 6th December, then there’s a house and disco day party from Defected Records the next day, on Saturday 7th December. Ending 2024 with a bang will be the jaw-dropping immersive Foreverland NYE event. Running from 5 pm til 3 am, this massive event will see the venue taken over completely, with trippy visuals, interactive characters and immersive decor taking you to another dimension.
Just a 5-minute walk from Cabot Circus in Bristol, DOCUMENT is a colossal new venue, launched by the team behind the city’s renowned Motion. Divided into five separate areas, it includes office spaces, a gym and an area for pop-up vintage and thrift markets and outdoor food vendors. Its biggest space, however, is Facility – an unapologetically industrial and cavernous space that spans the whole ground floor. The beating heart of the venue, it makes the perfect space for raves and live music. DOCUMENT is set to re-affirm Bristol as the greatest city for new dance music in the UK with this unreal lineup of talent this Winter.
