Franky Wah’s SHÈN Residency returns to Club Chinois – Full Lineup Announced
After a smash debut last year, Franky Wah brings his SHÈN residency back to Club Chinois for their third season, every Sunday from June 16th – September 29th. Expect a blissful blitz of world-class names weaving their magic in the club’s pleasure dome of intimate old-world Asian opulence and cutting-edge sound technology, for the ultimate escape from the daily grind to the welcoming ambience of the dancefloor, the music, the sheer style of the experience.
SHÈN finds a natural home at Club Chinois, as Franky Wah’s concept celebrates Chinese philosophy and mythology, ever pushing the boundaries of progressive club culture via his record label, fashion brand and Ibiza residency. Diversity and inclusivity are hard-wired into both Club Chinois and SHÈN, so expect the cream of the world’s multiple vibrant takes on electronic music. The SHÈN party hits the floor dancing with Franky’s hauntingly melodic curations augmented by Ukranian superstar Miss Monique, Sasha and John Digweed’s beloved, unbeatable B2B – their first announced for the season – and Brazilian talent Kalismã.
Party goers will be deservedly over-indulged, with a Hernan Cattaneo debut this year (2 dates), and the return of adored Joris Voorn and Hot Since 82. Guy J boosts the progressivity element, together with Sasha, John Digweed, and Franky himself, who will also be showcasing the Afro House phenomenon with Themba and Francis Mercier. With Swedish techno maven Ida Engberg, South Africa- born, Swiss-based deep house queen Nora En Pure, and Irish wizard REBŪKE creating a new sound from the clash of ’90s techno/house/rave, and many many more, this third year of Club Chinois with the welcome return of Franky Wah’s SHÈN will create excessive dancefloor euphoria all summer long on the White Isle.
‘I can’t wait to get back to Ibiza this year for the second edition of my SHÈN Residency at Club Chinois’ Franky says. ‘The debut last year was a huge success, from the incredible artists that played to the people that were turning up week on week. The vibe on the dancefloor every Sunday was pure magic and I’m buzzing to come back this year bigger and better than ever.’
