LF SYSTEM – All I’ve Got [Insomniac]
LF SYSTEM swing in with their debut offering on Insomniac Records taking the shape of “All I’ve Got,” an energetic disco-sampled house track record poised to sweep the dancefloor off its feet. Hailing from West Lothian, LF SYSTEM is the brainchild of Scottish producers Conor Larkman and Sean Finnigan. On the back of a textbook meteoric rise, the mighty duo blew the lid off the house circuit with one of the most widespread tracks to surface in recent memory, “Afraid To Feel,” being crowned the longest-running number one UK dance track within the last decade, earning torrential support!
For their label debut on Insomniac Records, they’ve reached into the house music canon to reprise a veritable jewel from NYC legend Lenny Fontana and Chicago royalty Byron Stingily. Burning with uncontrollable desire, “All I’ve Got” is all one could ever demand from an anthemic house cut. Its smoky, earworm of a hook is spilling over with soul. The tried-and-true vocal belts and awe-inducing coos are met with a supercharged groove replete with sashaying brass leads, funky basslines, wah-powered guitar rhythms, and the elating sensibilities that put LF SYSTEM on the map. Leaving their stamp on a favourite amongst crate-diggers, the boys once again transcend generations with another instant classic.
