Michael Bibi makes a triumphant return to DC10 following cancer treatment
Michael Bibi played a surprise set Thursday (28th September) at DC-10 in Ibiza, marking his first show back following the June announcement of his diagnosis of central nervous system (CNS) lymphoma, a rare form of cancer.
The DJ and Solid Grooves label boss has kept his followers updated with his treatment progress and yesterday updated that he had left hospital having undergone his initial cancer treatment. Bibi updated his fans on social media explaining “When I first came into hospital I could barely walk… Today, I walk out with a smile”.
After posting several clues on his Instagram stories yesterday, Bibi sent fans into a frenzy and flights to Ibiza allegedly sold out within minutes.Michael Bibi played an emotional set, some of which was live streamed on in his Instagram during his epic comeback at the Solid Grooves Casino Motel closing party.
