Pryda – The Return [Pryda]
World-renowned DJ, producer and label owner Eric Prydz will revive his most well-known alias Pryda this summer, unveiling the first music under the project for half a decade.
Following a seemingly never-ending list of ID requests as part of his inimitable, ever-evolving HOLO live show, the Swedish talent now puts title to two of the heavily-requested anthems as he brings back the alias in emphatic fashion. Recently teased on his own socials, showcasing a clip from his recent performance at Sonar Festival, the two-track split release will land via Pryda Recordings across July, with ‘The Return’ dropping on the 14th, followed by ‘Of Me’ on the 28th – with the singles arriving just ahead of his highly-anticipated HOLO debut at Tomorrowland.
Created nearly twenty years ago, with seminal releases such as ‘Aftermath’ (2005), ‘Muranyi’ (2007) and ‘Pjanoo’ (2008), the instrumental Pryda project has grown to be a leading influence within electronic music – with the ‘Pryda Sound’ often referred to almost as it’s own sub-genre. Expect those signature resonant, layered melodies and dopamine-inducing synths while also looking ahead to the future as Pryda returns to lead the way once again when it comes to all things melodic and progressive.
