Yousef – The Return [ABODE]

We welcome another label debut this April in the form of Circus Recordings head honcho, Yousef, who arrives on the label with brand new single, ‘The Return’. As a DJ, Yousef has been at the forefront of dance fan’s attentions right across the globe since the latter stages of the last century, proving that he’s an artist that continues to evolve and develop with consummate ease. New sounds, new developments and new frontiers; they all remain an instrumental part of his thrust forward as one the planet’s leading underground House music tastemakers.

As a producer he’s seen releases on Desolat, Bptich Control, Cocoon, Kaluki, Saved, FFRR, Knee Deep In Sound, DFTD and Moon Harbour, receiving support from some of the biggest DJs in the game including Loco Dice, Magda, Nic Fancuilli, Carl Cox, Guti and Uner. ‘The Return’ entices listeners with that classic Yousef sound, expect intricate percussion, rumbling bass, a woozy blend of swirling synth motifs which suck you in to another world, hypnotic drum grooves and ominous atmospherics for a dusky roller produced with the dancefloor in mind.
