Brand New Festival People announce Sigma, Fumez The Engineer & more for June event
Festival People represent the soundtrack of the next generation, celebrating culture and community in the Capital. Today they share details of their stage splits, featuring the likes of Kurupt FM, Bugzy Malone, Mollie Collins, P-rallel, Izzy Bossy, Izzy Bossy, Sammy Virji, Conducta, Ms Banks, Yung Filly and more.Each stage will host numerous performers, from DJs to MCs to dancers to VJs and more, who will be selected from the massive nationwide talent search. This means everyone has the chance to perform on stage alongside the incredible artists on the lineup. There is also the opportunity to get involved with the festival from the ground up – assist behind the scenes, help create content and much more. Festival People are the UK’s biggest talent search festival – where everyone is welcome to be as involved as they want, creating a true sense of community.
First up, we have the Main Stage where the iconic Kurupt FM will be taking over for their exclusive London festival appearance this summer and their biggest-ever headline performance in their home city. Next up on the main stageis Manchester’s finest Bugzy Malone, one of the biggest artists to emerge from the grime scene, Ms. Banks, who continues her meteoric rise with her infectious energy and decisive bars. P-Rallel, the multi-faceted selector who takes crowds on journeys through the UK sound system culture; Yung Filly, the nation’s favourite Youtube star, rapper, singer and presenter. Alongside UKG stalwarts Sammy Virji and Conducta who link up for an exclusive B2B set and the all-women DJ collective Girls Don’t Sync, who have made serious waves with their high-energy DJ sets of late, and the fast-rising Izzy Bossy.
Brighton-based party starters SuperCharged will be taking over the Big Top stage where amassive list of performers rooted in bass music of all varieties. This includes one of the world’s biggest drum & bass acts Sigma + MC Dynamite who will be serving up high energy for their only London performance this summer. They will be joined by fluid heavyweight Holy Goof, whose sets encompass everything from adrenaline-fuelled bassline to house, garage, grime and more; Australia’s LUUDE who has quickly come to the forefront of the DnB scene with his remix of ‘Down Under’. Bristol’s Born On Road who bring the new school of jungle with them; Dom Whiting who has been spreading his infectious energy by DJing while biking; alongside the fresh talents of KOVEN, Mollie Collins, Nathan X and AMA.
The Splashpark will be hosted by two titans of the London student scene, COGO and Sneak. Artists so far include Hot Dub Time Machine, presenting his time-travelling ‘dance-through-the-ages’ concept for a special rave set. Multi-platinum no.1 hitmaker Jonas Blue, stepping house maestros Belters Only and rising star Jess Bays. The UK’s best-known DJ in drag Jodie Harsh, alongside tastemaker Jay Forster; one-to-watch Leena Punk. As well as fun-loving party hosts Mas Que Nada and the fast-rising Assemble.
During the day The Amphitheatre stage will be hosted by Ellie Prohan, famed for her electric shows on Kiss FM and Kiss Fresh. Bringing a tight-knit crew along with her whose daytime sets will focus on celebrating the brightest talents under the sun, including Fumez The Engineer and many more special guests to be announced.
By night the stage will be transformed by BRESH – the biggest Latin-American party worldwide. With a ‘banger-after-banger’ philosophy at its core, BRESH will undoubtedly bring the party with them for their first-ever UK festival appearance. With special decorations, influencer appearances and a lot of room for audience participation, BRESH has rightly earned their title of The Most Beautiful Party In The World.
