Leena Punks – OOO (Out Of Office) [Stress]

Following her previous release ‘Mirage’ on Stress Records back in August, ‘OOO (Out Of Office)’ is Leena Punk’s next to drop on the label. It gets right underway with a quick, stabby melody, which bounces throughout the track. Not just the melody but many of the elements in this tune hark back to the 90s.

With energetic vocals, guiding you through the song; the massive build-ups and ethereal breakdowns make you crave those booming kicks. It feels like a brief infatuation with the summer, no doubt we will be hearing this getting played out – since Leena has definitely brought it to the MainStage.

Dubbed as one to watch by BBC Introducing, London based artist Leena Punks evolved into a DJ and producer with a mix of complex synths, melodic techno and progressive house. Securing residencies at clubs such as Fabric, XOYO and Ministry of Sound, Punks has also played worldwide in Ibiza, Zurich and Berlin.
