Dillon Nathaniel – Feel Alright/Bacana [Sweat It Out]
Auspicious American producer Dillon Nathaniel is moving full steam ahead as he serves up a face melting, bass driven EP ‘Feel Alright/Bacana‘ out now via Club Sweat. Proving he’s a whizz in the studio, this double dose of slick tech house showcases his affinity for precision percussion and hypnotic grooves, bound to transport you to another dance floor dimension.
Kicking off with ‘Feel Alright’, the thick and booming bass propels this production, a quality that is quickly becoming a part of Dillon Nathaniel’s sonic identity. Adding flare with alternating glitches and entrancing oscillations, you’ll soon be locked in, ready for more.
‘Bacana’, follows as the effervescent aunty of the pair. It is sure fire party material giving an instant injection of energy to any dance floor. Fusing elements of reggaeton with house music, syncopated timbale and intoxicating latin style vocals are coupled with yet another infectious bass groove. Dillon Nathaniel is non-stop flexing his finesse for creating bold and edgy house heaters, showing no sign of slowing down.
Dillon Nathaniel notes how well the record has been received so far, “‘Feel Alright’ has been one of the most requested IDs in all of my sets for the last three years. I debuted this song in my CRSSD Set in 2018 and was heavily supported by Chris Lake who played it at Dirtybird Campout and Audiotistic. This song screams energy and I am so happy to have finally found a home for it on Club Sweat!”
Speaking to the second track of the EP Dillon Nathaniel adds, “‘Bacana’ was heavily inspired by my trips to Mexico. I wanted to bring the energy of reggaeton to the tech-house dance floors! In my opinion, there is nothing more rhythmic and sexy than Latin music infused with the energy of house music and I am very excited to bring the two sounds together.”
