Little Fritter – Ooh La La [Sola]
Returning to Sola for his solo debut, Australian artist Little Fritter delivers a two-track EP bursting with emphatic dancefloor power – Ooh La La.
Ooh La La gets the release off to an energetic start, with an array of pounding drum work and garage grooves. Its roaring sub-bass takes you on a journey whilst catchy vocal cuts intercept the beat, and spiralling rolls, fills, and FX make key intersections for its rambunctious jungle-inspired segments. Make Da Party Hot follows with a chunky jacking flow. Pounding drums combine with a rhythmic hollow sub, quirky synths and swinging hat grooves to carve out a hip-shaking dancefloor jam – ripe for the peak segment of any busy party.
There aren’t many humans on this planet that deal in unabashed, fruity fun like Australia’s Little Fritter. Over the last decade, the Gold Coast-based artist has peddled his multicoloured good times across the dance scene, first as a DJ and promoter in his homeland with regular slots and residencies at some of the country’s most-loved events such as Melbourne’s Revolver, Lost Paradise, Future Music, The BUNKER, Subsonic, and his own Me and You and GOGO TROPICO events, and further abroad at international institutions including Love Parade and Club De Visionaere in Germany, Barcelona’s Off-Sonar, and London’s Spilt Milk, among many others.
