Alex Mills x Solardo – Keep Pushing [Ultra]

Leeds-born, London-based artist Alex Mills returns with new single ‘Keep Pushing’, produced by Manchester duo Solardo, out now on Ultra.

A slick, high-energy club heater, ‘Keep Pushing’ combines pumping hi-hats and a deep, pulsating bassline with Alex’s seductive vocals. It marks the latest in a long list of star-studded collaborations for the Solardo boys, who recently remixed ‘Eyes On Me’, the single from US singer-songwriter Chelley, and linked up with Spanish artist Wade on ‘Get Your Money’, a house smash that has racked up over 500,000 Spotify streams in less than a month. Meanwhile last year they joined forces with former Happy Mondays co-singer Rowetta on house smash ‘Enough’ and remixed UK chart-topper Becky Hill’s single ‘Space’.

A singer, songwriter, DJ and producer, Alex Mills has collaborated with some of the biggest artists in dance music, including Basement Jaxx, Hot Since 82, Chris Lorenzo, Joey Negro, Sonny Fodera and countless others. Amassing millions of streams across her back catalogue, Mills’ prolific output led to her being dubbed the ‘producers choice’ of vocalist by global tastemakers Mixmag. ‘Keep Pushing’ marks her third single release of 2021, following ‘Want You To Want Me’ and ‘Shout It Back’ featuring Gotsome, tracks that have already amassed more than 2 million combined Spotify streams.
