WaterBear – The College of Music have announced a new scholarship award with one of the world’s best-known and best-loved DJs, Carl Cox. As pioneer of electronic dance music, Carl Cox has been at the pinnacle of his profession for nearly three decades and continues to innovate and inspire through his music.

The Carl Cox Scholarship Award is for one deserving WaterBear student, who will receive equipment to the value of £15,000 in order to help support their music projects and career goals. The course eligible for the scholarship award is the new BA (Hons) Electronic Music and Business starting in September 2021, which can be studied on-site in Brighton, or online via distance learning from anywhere in the world. With a commitment to smaller class sizes, flexible course delivery and one-to-one mentoring, WaterBear represents a fresh approach to Higher Education.
