TAYA – Reakt [Realm]

Following last year’s Rarebreed ft. Tashmeen, Australian talent TAYA returns to Gorgon City’s REALM for new single Reakt, paving the way for a promising 2021.

Emerging from the lush rainforest hinterlands of Byron Bay, TAYA is beginning to make waves in his Australian hometown and beyond. Only appearing on the scene back in 2017, TAYA has already impressively landed releases on the likes of Yousef’s Circus Recordings, Doorly’s Reptile Dysfunction and of course REALM.

Before 2020 provided the industry with hurdles, TAYA graced line-ups across the globe including Amsterdam Dance Event, Burning Man, Pikes in Ibiza, Twisted Frequency in New Zealand and more, expected to return triumphantly when club land resumes once more.

Heavily championed by the Gorgon City lads in recent years, TAYA also finds fans in Carl Cox and Rufus Du Sol whilst this new single is already seeing approval from Riva Starr, Roger Sanchez, Green Velvet, Claude VonStroke, Claptone and more.

Setting the scene for Reakt, TAYA mentions, “”Reakt” came quite naturally, the sound and vibe perfectly reflects the headspace I was in when I wrote it whilst in my rainforest studio on a beautiful summer’s day.” Boasting sun-kissed melodies, TAYA’s Australian summer shines through with radiant energy and ethereal builds set to hypnotise listeners globally.
