Dario Nunez – Changing Ways EP [Sosumi]
Balearic maestro Dario Nunez makes his return to Kryder’s Sosumi Records label with his brand-new EP, consisting of three vibrant tracks which showcase the producer’s dynamic diversity. A regular Beatport chart-topper who has previously graced the label with ‘Brasel’, ‘Voices of the Night’, and Franky Nitty collaboration ‘Tribacid’, Dario Nunez is recognised as one of Spain’s most esteemed DJs, securing residencies at Bora Bora Baccanali & EDÉN in Ibiza.
Adding a deep acid-house touch to EP opener ‘Changing Ways’, Nunez whisks in a retro-sound vocal soaked in reverb, before bringing in a deep and thumping bassline. With ‘Dancing To My Beat’ adopting a more industrial feel, the brooding warehouse destroyer is coated in a dark and ominous tone throughout with a robotic vocal adding in a mechanical feel. Showcasing his diversity in the studio, the EP finale ‘Let Me Be Your Afterhour’ verges into a faster-paced tech-house feel, with echoed claps and a metronomic beat complimenting a vibrant and fast-paced melody.
Taking his sounds to various locations across the world, performing live sets in Miami, Los Angeles, Colombia, Venezuela, Ecuador, Argentina, Brazil, Dominican Republic, Bulgaria, Albany, Ukraine, France, Germany, Italy, Portugal, Morocco, Egypt, Russia. Indonesia, Vietnam, Moscú, Japan and many more, Dario Nunez’s Sosumi return follows the label’s brief hiatus in 2018, which was dispelled earlier this year when the imprint returned with a bang!
