B.A.N.G! follows the club and radio success of previous single Nu Times with a hot, uplifting new release entitled ‘My Escape‘ which is to be released via Chemiztri Recordings on Friday October 16th. The record also receives a remix from Electrick City too, which you can listen to below via a Dance Rebels exclusive premiere!
My Escape is built around glorious disco-inspired strings, mellow guitar strumming and lush soulful vocals which are underpinned with a rolling sub bas line, resulting in a uniquely B.A.N.G! track, straddling disco and tech house territories with aplomb. The Electrick City remix takes the tune in a piano house direction with just a touch of old school breakbeat action in the mix! The release also includes dub and instrumental versions. Whether at home, on your travels, or (when next possible) in a club, these tracks hits the spot!
“With My Escape I blended some disco elements, both sampled and played, with rolling sub bass and heavy drums, giving it a feel that I think is unique,” says Tony Corbin, aka B.A.N.G! “I layered some vocals to create harmonies reminiscent of the soulful disco golden age. The Electrick City remix maintains the melodic element perfectly, placing the vocals in an uplifting piano house setting.”
