Jickow – Lost In Anxiety EP [Natura Viva]

The emotionally charged sounds of Jickow are next up on the Natura Viva label, with remixes from Timid Boy and Criss Source.

Opener Anxiety Disorder is a deep, driving track with a freewheeling synth line that sprays about the mix to bring moodiness to the groove. The Criss Source remix is more rugged and textured, with chunky drums and frazzled synths making for a more tense and late night trip.

The excellent Lost in Ermitage is the next original from Jickow, and this one gets down and dirty on a rumbling bassline. The stripped back vibes make for a truly atmospheric cut. Last of all, Timid Boy ‘Leningrad’ remix is hunched over and driving, with molten late night chords and heady minimalism defying the soundscape.
