Hydrah – Lucid EP [Awen]

Minnesota grown and classically trained Hydrah has returned with an explosive 3 track melodic techno EP titled “Lucid” on Spanish based music label, AWEN Records. “Lucid” is a compilation of an intricate blend of melodic techno beats mixed with deep house influences.  Hydrah’s latest EP sets the tone with the elegance and melodic sound of “Divine” followed by the upbeat sounds of “Lucid” and closing the EP with a continuation of the ethereal and emotive sounds of Hydrah’s highly talented production skills and her very own sensual and uplifting vocals in her third and final track, “Solitude.”  

Hydrah pays careful detail to intertwining balanced melodies and the desire to highlight the power of her very own ethereal vocals throughout “Lucid.”  Hydrah’s latest EP was inspired by the steady emergence of the melodic house and techno genre and the desire to create more powerful, emotional electronic music. Known for incorporating her own piano chords, violin and piano, Hydrah once again whips up an equally unique and classy EP which highlights her dynamic sound and ear for musical composition.  Already receiving support from artists like Laurent Garnier and support from notable publications including DJ Mag Spain and Como las Grecas to name a few.  Blossoming into the club and festival scene performing at Exchange LA, Beyond Wonderland, Nocturnal Wonderland and performing alongside Eli & Fur there is no stopping Hydrah from taking over the techno scene.
