Bulldog Gin Joins Forces With DJ Mag & Music Therapy Charity Nordiff Robbins For A Music-Led Celebration This World Gin Day
BULLDOG London Dry Gin, the gin of the music world, today announces that it will be joining forces with DJ Mag and legendary DJ names including headliner Roger Sanchez, so that viewers can celebrate safely at home with an epic virtual house party in aid of Nordoff Robbins this World Gin Day.
For BULLDOG Gin, 2020 will mark the third June in a row where the summer months will kick off with a celebratory music partnership. 2018 saw Gorgon City and Tom Findlay (Groove Armada) perform at Printworks for the BULLDOG BIG Session in aid of Nordoff Robbins. In 2019 the BULLDOG Gin Yard showcased some of the best upand-coming DJ talent at London’s Field Day festival, with performances from Erol Alkan and Todd Terje.
This year, BULLDOG Gin and DJ Mag are looking forward to bringing the celebration to you with their first virtual house party. Featuring an hour-long set from globally renowned DJ Roger Sanchez, with performances from Franky Wah, Siggy Smalls and more, the stellar line-up of DJ sets will be streamed on DJ Mag’s Facebook and Youtube for viewers to enjoy from the comfort of their own homes.
Having carved a reputation as the gin of the music world, BULLDOG Gin has enjoyed partnerships with the likes of Printworks and Pikes Ibiza and is excited to join forces with DJ Mag to bring the Ibiza spirit live to living rooms across the UK. BULLDOG stands for a generation eager to write its own story and is looking forward to marking World Gin Day with a celebration that continues to defy expectations and stand out in the gin category.
This World Gin Day, BULLDOG Gin will also continue to support partner Nordoff Robbins, the UK’s largest independent music charity, and bring awareness to their cause at this particularly challenging time. Nordoff Robbins is a charity that uses the power of music to enrich the lives of people affected by life limiting illness, isolation or disability through the delivery of high-quality music therapy services. Their Masters- level music therapy training and their dedicated research to enrich, strengthen and demonstrate the effectiveness of their work. Viewers will have the option to make donations to Nordoff Robbins during the streaming session.
BULLDOG Gin and DJ Mag invite viewers to pour themselves a refreshing BULLDOG serve and join them for their live stream. Hosted on DJ Mag’s website here and on its YouTube and official Facebook page, viewers are invited to log in on Saturday 13th June between 6pm and 10pm to toast to World Gin Day with the BULLDOG Gin community.
Campari UK’s Marketing Director Nick Williamson says of the partnership; ‘We are extremely excited about BULLDOG Gin’s partnership with DJ Mag to celebrate World Gin Day. Having enjoyed a number of music-affiliated partnerships, we embrace the opportunity to continue to lend our support to artists. We are also thrilled to continue to contribute to the work of renowned music therapy charity Nordoff Robbins, who have been working hard to lend their support and guidance to the industry at this particularly difficult time.’
Simon Kelly, Head of Digital & Partnerships at DJ Mag says of the partnership: ‘From Patrick Topping’s eclectic party set in the sun at Pikes Ibiza to Green Velvet’s pitch-black closing at Printworks London, DJ Mag’s partnership with BULLDOG Gin has touched the extremes of the electronic music experience. While the latest frontier isn’t one we could have predicted, we’re excited to evolve the partnership and to take these shared experiences online, providing much-needed music and connection while also raising money for Nordoff Robbins, an organisation very close to our hearts. We can’t wait to share what we have in store!’
Sandy Trappitt, Head of Partnerships at Nordoff Robbins says of the partnership: “BULLDOG Gin have been supporting Nordoff Robbins Music Therapy for many years now and we’re so thankful to be part of another World Gin Day. Partnerships like this are so important to us, but especially in times like this. Like many other charities, we’re being severely impacted by the current Coronavirus outbreak. Not only will BULLDOG Gin’s support help us to continue to work with people affected by life limiting illness, isolation or disability through music therapy but it will also help safeguard our future as a charity. It’s great that we can bring World Gin Day online for an epic music festival – as people find themselves isolated in lockdown, music is more important than ever in helping people to stay connected and upbeat.”
