Laidback Luke & Steff Da Campo – We Found Love [Mixmash]

Always on the hunt for a unique sound, Laidback Luke joins forces with Steff da Campo for a groovy collaboration titled “We Found Love”.

Laidback Luke has been a steady force in dance music for years, always pushing to fill his Mixmash Records imprint with unique talents. 2020 has been a busy year for the Dutchman, having already released four singles prior to this one. Steff da Campo has been pumping out groovy tunes all year as well, with a remix for Galantis‘ “Holy Water” and single titled “Little Bit Love” his latest successes.

“We Found Love” is built around a vocal that serves as the glue of the breakdown. A piano melody and simple percussion sequence join the party next, as the vocalist hits the chorus from which the track derives its name. As the buildup commences, the influences of some old school Dirty Dutch high-pitched synths make their way into the sound. Laidback Luke and Steff da Campo then finish the job with a thumping bassline to pull everything together.
