Florian Picasso & GRX – Restart Your Heart [STMPD]

Two producers with stellar talent have reunited for another collaboration, as Florian Picasso and GRX (Martin Garrix) have linked up for “Restart Your Heart”.

The last time these two put their heads together in the studio, the result was the gritty electro banger titled “Make Up Your Mind”. That was one of seven tracks Martin Garrix released in the leadup to Amsterdam Dance Event in 2016. Florian Picasso first released with STMPD RCRDS in June 2019, dropping “But Us” alongside Echosmith. Garrix is fresh off the release of his latest hit, titled “Drown” with vocalist Clinton Kane.

“Restart Your Heart” features an electro house sound that definitely comes from off the beaten path. A deep grinding synth provides some massive firepower, with bits of vocal samples sprinkled in on top. The breakdown in the middle provides the vocals with a chance to shine through. They pair perfectly with an airy arrangement of synths that keep things moving. Soon after, Florian Picasso and GRX plunge the listener back into a grungy electro vibe that solidifies its status as a peak-time tune.
