Season Line-Up Announced For Defected @ Eden Ibiza
Defected returns to Eden on Fridays for its fourth season at the club, opening on 15th May 2020 during the inaugural Defected Ibiza Festival and running for 20 consecutive dates. Locking in the very best in house music from across the board, the season’s line-up reflects Defected’s tenacity to champion the brightest rising stars of the scene alongside household names. Taking over Friday nights once again, the label’s weekly parties will be the ultimate way to kick off a weekend on the island.
As always, the Defected Ibiza line-up reflects the very best in house music across the board, from the pioneering sounds of Todd Terry, Kenny Dope and Armand Van Helden to established talents like Mele, Catz ‘N Dogz, Darius Syrossian and Gorgon City. Rising stars like Franky Wah, the Dunmore Brothers and Loéca will also join the bill, along with the full force of Defected’s residents Amine Edge & DANCE, Sam Divine, Simon Dunmore, Jess Bays plus many more.
Adding a new dimension to this summer’s run of parties at Eden, sub-label 4 To The Floor will take over Room 2 of the San Antonio club. As a label, Defected continue to push the boundaries of modern house, but with an illustrious catalogue of classics across their twenty-one years of releasing records, the programming reflects the heritage roots of the London imprint and their vast network of acts. With artists like Chicago legend Mike Dunn, the inimitable Mousse T. and studio maestro The Shapeshifters joining the bill, along with island mainstays like Melon Bomb, DJ Pippi and Andy Baxter enlisted to bring the Balearic vibe.
The 2020 Ibiza season will see Defected build on the reputation the label has earned on the island since 2000, as two decades later Defected’s residency at Eden, now in its fourth year, continues to be San Antonio’s biggest success story. Staying true to its ethos of making clubbing affordable and accessible, advance tickets for all 20 dates at Eden are available now for just €20. With the 2019 season seeing Defected’s busiest run of parties yet, label head Simon Dunmore’s personal curation of each night has allowed Defected to thrive with its ‘no fuss, just house’ concept.
