Croydon Club Phase Announces January & February Listings
New Croydon venue Phase have announced their programme for January and February, with a slew of high-profile artists, including Skream, Roni Size, Shadow Child, Artful Dodger, Greg Wilson and East End Dubs all locked in to perform.
There are also weekend slots for Elrow’s De La Swing, Voltage & Bassman, Monki & Alisha, Matt Jam Lamont and GW Harrison, as Phase continues to assert itself as the area’s freshest new club. Elsewhere, midweek events will have more of a live focus, including a weekly comedy night every Wednesday, Drageoke (drag karaoke) and a variety show with award-winning cabaret star Matt Ricardo.
Hitting the ground running after opening in late 2019, Phase has already hosted club nights and gigs with the likes of local favourite Oneman, New York house legend Roger Sanchez, the chart-topping Shapeshifters and BBC Radio 1Xtra host DJ Target.
Comprised of two dedicated club rooms plus a studio, the 500-capacity venue is dedicated to hosting a balanced and inclusive programme which seeks to bring together the leading, rising and most vibrant talents from the fields of electronic and live music.
A new venture from the Lambeth group – the team responsible for Brixton’s The Prince of Wales which has been operating for the last seven years – Phase operates a 4am license, with club nights scheduled for Fridays and Saturdays while midweek events will showcase live music and comedy shows. Both club rooms are fitted with all-new Coda Audio sound system, which offers superior sound quality, including a sensor controlled bass system offering the most precise and immersive experience for attendees.
Phase’s January and February listings are indicative of a music venue dedicated to putting Croydon back on to the UK clubbing map. Confirmed for later in 2020 Phase has Sam Divine, Jess Bays, Fabio & Grooverider, Darius Syrossian, DJ Luck & MC Neat, Seb Zito, De La Swing, Shapeshifters on the line up.
