Welcoming back Illyus & Barrientos to Toolroom. Never breaking traditions, The Scottish duo are kicking off January 2020 with the first release of the year, ‘Promise‘. The duo have cemented their status as one of the hottest DJ and production duos in the UK. 2019 was huge for the Scottish stars; they secured a place in Pete Tong’s infamous Essential Mix hall of fame, made their Fabric debut, racked up over 13,000,000 streams and had releases on Club Sweat, Elrow, Toolroom, as well as support from FISHER, Mark Knight and Dombreksy.

In true Illyus & Barrientos form, ‘Promise’ is a stunning, peak-time bomb. What makes their records so unique is that their personalities shine through their productions – Filled with lots energy and stand out vocals. ‘Praise’ features an unmissable diva vocal and the record is full of fun.
