Following his single Wanna Try that landed on Solardo’s Sola ADE 2019 compilation last month, Piero Pirupa returns with another genre crossing delight in the form of two track acid roller Bassface EP.

Not one to associate himself with one genre, Piero Pirupa has landed Beatport Chart toppers over the years thanks to his versatile ear beyond tech-house realms. With a widespread back catalogue that features releases on the likes of VIVa, Armada, Drumcode, Elrow, Defected, Toolroom, Relief, Desolat and Repopulate Mars among others, the NONSTOP label head is constantly demonstrating his ability to work multiple genres with captivating effect.

Injecting acid pulses into a grooving bassline, Bassface draws on multiple house and techno eras whilst a hypnotic vocal soars over weighty percussion. Acid Skream follows, boasting gripping hooks and mesmerizing synths that build into a warping breakdown drawing on acidic wobbles and squelches suited to any rave setup.
