The Best Of Kenny Summit So Far [Good For You]
Respected by DJs and the cognoscenti alike, Kenny Summit is one of the great unsung heroes of the house music scene, getting his start as a 16 year old resident DJ for legendary New York clubs like Limelight, Tunnel and Palladium.
Presenting an overview of his star-studded career, ‘The Best Of Kenny Summit‘ includes a never-before-heard edit of his legendary collaboration with the godfather of house music himself, Frankie Knuckles. A dancefloor re-imagining of Lou Rawls’ 70s disco nugget ‘You’ll Never Find A Love Like Mine’, this remix was Knuckles’ last ever production and a personal favorite of his; in fact, Knuckles played it as the closing track at his last ever gig at Ministry Of Sound in London on March 29, 2014. Check out footage of Knuckles playing the track to a packed crowd here.
