AU-1 – You Got Me [Strictly Rhythm]

AU-1 is better known as premier league international DJ and producer Thomas Gold. An ever-present on the scene over the last ten years, Thomas has stacked up an impressive volume of productions and remixes on labels such as Axtone, CR2, Toolroom and Armada, and worked with a slew of top artists including Axwell and Fatboy Slim. His ridiculously long remix resume goes from straight house through to major pop artists like Adele and Lady Gaga.

Now, as AU-1, with releases on CR2 and Toolroom already notched up, he’s returning once more to his club roots with a more underground house feel. You Got Me is his latest club excursion, based on a sample hook from a song popularised by one of the greatest ever female vocalists. Where big tech-house strokes set the tone on the original mix, LadebaRe‘s remix picks up a more groovy style in the fashion of Shadowchild’s recent stripped down beats.
