Flynthe’s Party Playlist
Bart Frech is Flynthe, an Amsterdam based dj/producer with a signature progressive sound. The last decade he has been 50% of Disfunktion, a dj/producer duo signed to Armada Music. Now, as Flynthe, he makes uplifting & melodic progressive house with power. While flirting with tech and other styles, he makes sure his euphoric melodies and arpeggiators are accompanied by strong kick drums and punchy snares.
Flynthe & Chewie – Osaka [Zerothree]: I am very proud of this collaboration with my buddy from Shanghai, Chewie. When thinking of labels we were aiming for Zerothree and we were so honored that the label shared the excitement for this track. We added a deeper progressive track, called ’Resist’, to have a nice balanced EP.
Sebastian Ingrosso – Laktos [Refune]: The groove in Laktos is so chill, but so uplifting too, a journey of sounds. The whole emotional breakdown gives me chills.
Unterberg & Kris O’Neil – Solemn [Avanti]: Both are super good progressive dj/producers. The bass in this collaboration is sooo nice. I am doing a collab with each of them too. They both have a great sense of humor, so working with them is a joy.
Flynthe – Aftersome [Zerothree]: Having a track on Zerothree Music was one of my top goals when starting Flynthe. Having one of my first tracks released on this label made me so happy. I am very excited to have more tracks being released on Zerothree!
Fehrplay & Disfunktion – Nova [Armada Trice]: A special track for me, as it was made while I was 50% of Disfunktion, a great and fun period with my buddy Mike. And Jonas (Fehrplay) has become a dear friend over the past few years.
Pryda – Melo [Pryda]: The most defining producer and dj in my opinion, he formed a whole style; a track can be ’Prydz’. I could list 90% of his tracks as being my favorite. Melo stands out, because it still gives me goosebumps after all those years and plays.
Lifelike – So Electric [Different]: Another producer who just gets every track or remix right. ’So Electric’ has that perfect balance of emotion, melancholy, hope, tension and release, perfect for a night drive, or start/end of a set.
Steve Angello – Isabel [SIZE]: Isabel is a timeless track I think. It’s from 2009, but it still sounds so current. The same goes for his track Gypsy.
Andre Sobota – Saudade [Toolroom]: One of my all time favorite producers. I played this track during a set at Burning Man, just as the sun came up. Each play brings me back to that moment.
Robyn – Hang With Me (Avicii Remix) [Konichiwa]: Robyn is so cool and so very talented, I wish I could hang with her.. Avicii worked his magic on the remix, goosebumps. A great loss for the world of music.
