Proudly People & Reelow – Third Eye EP [Rawthentic]

Italian duo Proudly People team up with Hungarian producer Reelow for three tracks entitled ‘Third Eye EP’ this October via Rawthentic

Proudly People continue to carve up a reputation for rhythmic rollers geared for the dancefloor having released on Desolat, Moon Harbour and Roush. Meanwhile, Barcelona-based Reelow, who’s recently launched his own Reecords imprint, is a key component of the Solid Grooves roster when not releasing on labels like ElRow and Snatch! They now join Carlo Lio and Nathan Barato’s Rawthentic, collaborating for the first time bringing a trio of infectious house cuts.

Intricate percussion and a sultry bassline lay the foundation for ‘Third Eye’ as looping vocals join glitchy effects. Next up, a powerful low-end, rattling drums and recognisable vox sample form ‘Only True Lies’ before the high-octane ‘Perception’ concludes the package with deep stabs and an undulating groove.
