Cristian Merino & Karretero – Night Madness EP [elrow]

March has arrived, and with it, another banger EP to elrow Music‘s back catalogue. This time, we turn our attention to Spain – home of elrow – for an amazing delivery by the team formed by high rising DJs and producers Cristian Merino & Karretero. The pair has teamed-up to make this ‘Night Madness EP‘, with their own original take and a remix by another uprising Spanish talent, Madrid’s Alvaro AM.

This short work opens with the track naming it, ‘Night Madness‘, in which the pair formed by Cristian Merino & Karretero start with a steady percussive rhythm, that develops itself until breaking with that hip-hopish, scratched vocal line, turning into a total dancefloor killer thanks to its FX treatment, just by the middle of the track. Then we have ‘Night Madness (Alvaro AM remix)‘, in which Alvaro shows off his great skills as producer and remixer, turning an already good track into a total beast, infusing it with the vibe you’d expect from any elrow meeting. Alvaro AM manages to make a more complex and deeper song, with some great FX treatment on the voices, more layers of percussion and techy sounds, all breaking by the middle into a total dance extravaganza.
