Sebastian Ingrosso & Salvatore Ganacci feat. Bunji Garlin – Ride It (WILL K Remix)
On October 5th, available via his official Soundcloud account, WILL K returns with another instalment of epicness; his anthemic remix of Sebastian Ingrosso and Salvatore Ganacci’s hit ‘Ride It’, which also features Bunji Garlin on vocal duties.
Sebastian Ingrosso, Salvatore Ganacci and Bunji Garlin’s ‘Ride It’ was originally released May 5th via Sebastian Ingrosso’s ‘Refune Music’ imprint, and since then it’s amassed more than 1.2 million Spotify streams, whilst also peaking at #7 on the Beatport Big Room chart. Additionally, the high-profile collab also gained spins from fellow cohorts including Alesso, Hardwell, David Guetta, Afrojack and many more.
For WILL K’s take on ‘Ride It’, which was originally a whopping 140 BPM, he initially slowed the record down to a more club-ready 126 BPM, whilst also preserving Bunji Garlin’s Ragga Soca vocals in the break. WILL K then let his creativity flow in his take on the drops by implementing various new elements including a stirring lead, bouncy toms, a phat kick and an imposing siren.
WILL K also said the following: ‘When I first heard Seb and Salvatore’s ‘Ride It’, I instantly fell in love with the vocal and the general power of the track. Technically, I also thought the stabs were a cool element; it gave the track a really gritty edge. I knew I could put my own festival touch on ‘Ride It’ too. So here we are, enjoy!’
As an artist, WILL K’s reputation, demand and ability has rapidly risen 2017; he’s been touring worldwide as a part of Axwell’s ‘Axtone Records’, which has seen him grace the decks at spots in Germany, Japan, Mayanmar, Taiwan and Toulouse. On the flipside, he’s also released a plethora of records on imprints including Arkade, NoFace, Sosumi, Flamingo and Fonk. The future also looks bright for this young Melbourne-born beat-maker; he’s also set to perform at the annual Amsterdam Dance Event late October too.
