The Protocol Recordings five-year celebration continues on with Nicky Romero‘s remix for Stadiumx and Taylr Renee‘s “Howl At The Moon”.

The original record spent a whopping 17 days atop Beatport’s Progressive House chart when released in February 2014. The remix by Nicky Romero is the third released to celebrate five years of Protocol Recordings. Stadiumx remixed Nicky Romero and Nervo‘s “Like Home” and Tony Romera remixed Romero’s “Symphonica”.

Originally a progressive hit, Nicky Romero makes “Howl At The Moon” into a groovy banger. Using Taylr Renee‘s mysterious vocals, Romero adds an extra dose of energy through punchy percussion. In the drop, he maintains the integrity of the original melody, intertwining it with his trademark acid-house synths. Nicky Romero is able to convert “Howl At The Moon” into a funky banger to rock any sort of crowd.
