NWYR – Voltage [Mainstage Music]
The long-awaited ID track from NWYR, W&W‘s newest alias, drops in the form of “Voltage”.
The record, circulating since a 2010 radio guest mix and revitalized in 2014, had been titled “Orchestra” by the Internet. The record comes as a free download from the duo. It marks the first official release under the new NWYR moniker. They have a few highly-demanded remixes floating around as well.
“Voltage” blurs the lines between NWYR‘s trance style and W&W‘s big-room vibes. A thumping first drop brings a stripped-down, aggressive feel before heading into a serene breakdown. Epic chords combine with vocal chops to create a euphoric feel. The second drop welcomes more abrasive big-room synths to drop one last round of killer energy. “Voltage” represents an impressive debut for NWYR.
