Sonus Festival Announces FULL Line-Up + Boat Party Schedule For 5th Birthday
With Sonus’ fifth birthday celebrations along the horizon, the final names have been added to the already mammoth bill, rounding off what is set to be one of the parties of the summer! The likes of international heavyweights Floorplan, Dense & Pika, Guti, Raresh and more, have been added to the five day, five night sonic exploration taking place across 20-24th August, on the idyllic Pag Island in Croatia. These names will be joining familiar faces Adam Beyer, Ricardo Villalobos, Jackmaster, and Joseph Capriati, PLUS stage takeovers, daily boat parties, and the infamous after party sessions – with the first two tiers long sold out, rest assured Tier 2 won’t be sticking around for long: grab one now for 179€.
An unmissable event on the house and techno calendar – Sonus Festival has become a staple for music fans across the world. With a reputation for incredible production, beautiful settings, and unparalleled line-ups, this years’ edition is pulling in the heaviest hitting bill to date. Finalising the roster for 2017’s event, Sonus have added Lyon native, and InFine founder, Agoria, who will be dishing out a generous helping of disco influenced techno, as well as a DJ set from Innervisions affiliated duo Âme. More new additions come in form of UK tag team, Hypercolour familia Dense & Pika, a live musical education from Floorplan (aka Robert Hood and Lyric Hood), expertly executed live performances on the jazz tinged house end of the spectrum from Guti plus Slovenian selector Ian F., who will all be bringing the vibe to the stunning Zcre Beach. Representing for the Croatian scene are local legends Ivan Komlinovic (live) and Mimi, plus Item&Things first ladyMagda. Holding it down for the [a:rpia:r] camp, with the finest minimal is Romanian based producerRaresh, with Mannheim resident and 8bit affiliate Steffen Deux also joining the five year celebrations, last but not least, rounding off the new additions is founding father of Slovenian techno Valentino Kanzyani.
Already announced for the five day five night Adriatic adventure, are friends, family and special guests from the highest calibre of the house and techno worlds. Now Sonus can finally announce their boat party schedule, all aboard! Once a day, punters can set sail for intimate parties to dance the afternoons away across the Adriatic sea. This year find Keep On Dancing with special guests, Berlin based magazine XLR8R with Rødhåd and Meat, plus tINI & thewhole gang keeping hands in the air. Jesus Loved You label boss Valentino Kanzyani holds it down on their boat, with more DJs still to be confirmed. Thursdays ocean exploration sees French crew TRAX on deck with Cabanne & Lowris playing under the K.O.D moniker.
