Maceo Plex x Swayzak – 5th dimensional Groove [Ellum]: So much energy in this one, as a fan of techno, I really love the production behind this track. Each element has been chosen perfectly and the mixdown of the track is awesome.
Still Young – White Label (Is This Love) [SIZE]: One of the biggest recent progressive house release, my buddy Still Young made a big one with this one, much respect! I love the melody and it was such a smart idea to retake Bob Marley’s vocal! This one’s gonna smash the summer for sure.
SDJM – The Heat (I Wanna Dance With Somebody) [One More Tune]: Big up to my Italian groovers Simon de Jano & Madwill for this radio hit. I play it in most of my sets since the release and the crowd reaction is always amazing! The chords are brilliant and the vocal originally from Whitney Houston is incredibly catchy!
Orkidea – Nana (Jerome Isma-Ae Remix) [Black Hole]: I’m also a big fan of progressive trance, and this remix from the legend Jerome Isma-Ae is really dope. There’s so much pressure in the build up, it’s a real club banger. The famous afro vocals bring a kind of summer vibe to the track. And as always, Jerome Isma-Ae only bring quality in term of mixdown and sound design.
Corey James ft. Santez – With You [SIZE]: We can feel the big Prydz influence in this one, and I love how Corey James found an original sound design for his melody, the track is emotional and powerful at the same time, which is something really hard to do as producer, well done bro!
Sebjack – Vie [Bibliotheque]: I really appreciate the vibe of Sebjack’s imprint Bibliotheque Records! And this track really represent the spirit of the label, some classy, techno infused progressive house music. The break is magnificent and the strong brass bass makes the track so intense!
Thurman – Plastic Tiger [Time Has Changed]: Thurman is one of the best emergent talents from the French underground scene. He is very pernickety in his production process and this track is extremely well produced. One of my fav from him! He’s one of these guys who know how to master a Moog, and you can really hear it in this track.
Vigel – Children (Original Mix) [Armada]: ‘Children’ is one of these timeless tracks that gets and will get remixed forever. And THIS version is a real masterpiece, big up to Vigel, I didn’t knew this guy before I heard this track but I will keep an eye on what he release!
Dave Winnel – Old School [Axtone]: Even if it was released last year, I still love this masterpiece from my favourite Australian producer: Dave Winnel. The groove and the bass are really badass! Some great house / Ghetto-house vibe! And in club, it’s an absolute banger!
Eddie Thoneick – Heart [SIZE]: The break is brilliant! I really like the smooth vocoder sound he used on the voice. There is so much pressure in the build up; I can’t imagine how fat it can be live! Then the track brings us to a tribal influenced drop with some groovy perc! I can’t wait to play it in my next gigs!
