Loge21 – Just Bass EP [Confession]

One of France’s finest, Tchami, brings more big sounds to his Confession imprint with Loge21‘s Just Bass EP.

If you’ve been paying attention to the Confession label, then this duo is familiar. The EP is their first on the label, but their third release overall. They were also responsible for the banger titled “Flip The Funk” from earlier this year. The tracks on the EP are so successful that they’ve been supported on radio programs like Beats One and Diplo & Friends.

“Just Bass,” the EP’s title track, understandably delivers plenty of bass. The duo uses unapologetically aggressive sub-bass along with a grooving top line to create an instrumental hit meant to give your subwoofer a workout. Loge21 brings in vocalist Dee Ajayi for the second track titled “Need U”. Her chilled-out vocals pair excellently with a mellow breakdown that precedes a climax marked by another set of abrasive synths.
