Yves V & Marc Benjamin – Blow [Spinnin’ Records]

Industry veterans Yves V and Marc Benjamin show their skills on a collaboration called “Blow”.

Both artists possess impressive discographies before teaming up on this record. Yves V returns to Spinnin’ after releasing “Find Your Soul” via the imprint in March. Marc Benjamin, who has collaborated with Laidback Luke in the past, most recently released “Reflection (This Time)” via Powerhouse Music. Debuted by Hardwell, the record also has support from Nicky Romero, David Guetta and others.

“Blow” is a melodic breath of fresh air. Categorized in the future house section of Beatport, the track makes use of light synths and a cheery melody. The best quality of this record is its smoothness, crafted through excellent layering of sounds. Throw in an extra round of bass and Yves V and Marc Benjamin create an emotional track. Mellow in some parts and energetic in others, “Blow” is a strong summer tune.
