Pep & Rash feat. D-Double – Break Down [Musical Freedom]
Future house pioneers Pep & Rash unveil a brand-new banger in the form of “Break Down”.
Jesse and Rachid, their real names, make their debut on Tiësto‘s Musical Freedom imprint with the record. “Break Down” also features D-Double on vocals. The song got off the ground thanks to a high-profile debut from the label boss himself on the Ultra Music Festival mainstage in Miami. Since then, it has drawn support from the likes of Don Diablo, Oliver Heldens, Martin Garrix and more.
The best word to describe “Break Down’ is heavy. Pep & Rash developed their fame off of a melodic sound, but go in a different direction here. D-Double provides intense vocals over a simple set of drums as the track its going. The producers build the record up underneath, until a cascade of bass and emphatic synths hits mark the climax. “Break Down” brings the perfect energy for any summer party or DJ set.
