Whethan – Savage ft. Flux Pavillion & MAX (Galactic Marvl Remix)
Galactic Marvl has been known to have a really deep sound. I don’t mean this in low bass necessarily, but the sound in the music reaches very far and thus has a deep feeling to it. Galactic Marvl demonstrates this in a sick remix of “Savage” by Whethan. Immediately we are taken into this mysterious and growing environment. Then that familiar style of bass in the original makes its appearance. The vocals of MAX come in on top, then the music turns into these progressing synths. As the music builds and the drums increase, we are caught off guard by an extremely powerful drop.
The drums gain so much strength, and the synths take control and carry the music around. These high vocal cuts play on top of it all, finalizing the sensation of the music we are hearing. Halfway through the drop, I hear a very K?d-esc synth enter the mix, and honestly, Galactic Marvl does a great job of incorporating that sound into the already complex music. As the song builds up again, the environment explodes with these powerful blasts of sound. There bass, synth, and even some nice glitchy sounds added in. This leads to a small “clearing of the smoke,” before we jump right back into the second drop. To end all of the excitement, Galactic Marvl plays some very nice piano with lovely, subtle melodies on top.
This is a fantastic remix and displays how much Galactic Marvl has grown in producing music. The synths are constructed so well, the periods of calm versus energetic music are spaced perfectly. Check out Galactic Marvl‘s remix of “Savage“!
