Sebjak – VIE [Bibliothèque]

Swedish hedonist Sebjak returns to his own Bibliotheque imprint with another expertly crafted melodic house workout that morphs into a powerful club weapon entitled VIE. Emotive and full of soul, yet driven by a swelling undercurrent of bass and hypnotic groove, this is Sebjak at his distinctive best.

The track opens with drifting melodies, wafting keys and an airy, spine-tingling atmosphere. Beneath the surface grumbling bass begins to build as the tension rises. Muted horns join the busy soundscape before thunderous synths crash down on top of the deep, funky groove. Highly distinctive and inventive, the track’s bottom end slips and slides beneath a skilfully constructed rhythm structure. Addictive, stylish and immediate, “Vie” brings plenty of that Sebjak magic to the floor once again.
