Blasterjaxx feat. Jonathan Mendelsohn – Black Rose [Maxximize Records]
More big sounds have landed from the upcoming Blasterjaxx XX Files EP, with “Black Rose” alongside Jonathan Mendelsohn coming as the third track.
No one knows exactly how many tracks will be on the EP, but clearly the more the merrier. The duo worked with David Spekter on “Collide” and did “More” alongside Mister Blonde, with both released last week. This marks the second time that the Dutch duo has teamed up with Jonathan Mendelsohn, as he provided vocals on “Ghost In The Machine” with MOTi.
“Black Rose” is both Blasterjaxx and Jonathan Mendelsohn at their finest. This record pumps big-room sound from all angles, starting with epicly loud synths and a thumping bassline. It’s like a trip back to the 2013 big-room craze, as massive kicks and percussive toplines reign supreme. The middle breakdown allows Mendelsohn to shine with his passionate vocals taking over. Then, massive chords lead toward another colossal climax. “Black Rose” is the quintessential banger that you need for any playlist or party.
