The Chainsmokers Reveal Plans for Debut Album; 40-City Tour
As we have suspected, Alex Pall and Drew Taggart of The Chainsmokers announced today epic plans for a debut album and an accompanying tour hitting 40 different cities in the U.S. this spring/summer.
The tour, titled “Memories: Do Not Open”, begins on April 13 in Miami, FL and goes all across the states until it concludes in the hometown of the duo, NYC, in the second week of June. Via Twitter, the duo has promised totally new production, including the incorporation of live-music elements fused with a fresh DJ set.
As of yet, there has been no mention of a release date on the album. But it seems Alex & Drew are pitching this as a bit of an album/tour package deal, so expect more news (and new music) in the near future.
