Fox Stevenson & Mesto – Chatterbox [Spinnin’ Records]

Spinnin’ Records veteran Fox Stevenson combines his talents with one of their newest young talents in Mesto for a speaker-shaking banger titled “Chatterbox”.

Fox Stevenson (formerly known as “Stan SB”) comes from a musical background, and has the skills to play guitar, drums and bass. Mesto is just 17-years-old, and learned to play drums at age 11, which allowed him to catch the attention of Spinnin’ in the form of an exclusive deal. This record already gained support from Martin Garrix, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Oliver Heldens and more.

“Chatterbox” brings a bit of future house, a bit of progressive house and a bit of electro house. That simply shows off the strengths of both Fox Stevenson and Mesto. The melody features complex layers, each with its own progression and synth choice. Next, the producers do a strong job with their buildup as strong percussion triggers this transition. A bouncy future house bassline clashes with emphatic top synths to make “Chatterbox” a tune with plenty of power.
