Steve Angello feat. Mako – Children Of The Wild (Vion Konger Remix)
Russian rising star Vion Konger certainly had a 2016 to remember. With releases on Hardwell‘s Revealed Recordings (“Nucleus”) and Dannic‘s Fonk Recordings (“Outbreak” with M35) to look back on, he closes out the calendar year with his free remix to Steve Angello and Mako‘s “Children of the Wild”.
This remix already has some mileage on it, given that its first recorded play came over a year ago in September. However, its most high-profile support came during April 2016, when French superstar David Guetta dropped the remix in front of the mainstage crowd at Tomorrowland Brazil. The remix also saw love from Dannic, Hardwell and Tiësto.
Vion Konger built his name off of some groovy house tracks, but this remix takes that sound a step further. It features blasts of energy from a fat bassline, as well as an aggressive percussive top line that really attacks the listener’s ears. Then, the middle breakdown serves as a refuge where Mako‘s vocals give the perfect counterbalance. When you put it all together, Vion Konger creates a remix that serves as a must-play record to end the year.
