Kryder & Daddy’s Groove – Street Life [Cartel]
Kryder and Tom Staar‘s Cartel imprint continues to put out the best in groovy house music, as evidenced by the arrival of “Street Life”.
This brand-new tune pits Kryder, one of the label bosses, alongside Daddy’s Groove, one of Italy’s hottest dance music duos. Each achieved great things in 2016, with Kryder starring on releases like “The Chant” with Eddie Thoneick and “Crocodile Tears”. Daddy’s Groove was responsible for hits like “Scratchin” alongside Promise Land and “Tribe” with Steve Biko. The wait since May is over, and support from just about every name in the industry proves this record’s worth.
“‘Street Life’ represents where we musically come from, groovy vibes melted with a latin funk sample all blended with our love for that stuff! It feels genuine, as we enjoyed the music as much as we enjoyed doing this with our brother Kryder.”

The breakdown of this track revolves around two different elements. The producers chose to use a brass section for their lead sound, which is something that doesn’t happen too often. The second important section on this tune are the drums, which balance the sound out. “Street Life” then migrates towards its buildup, where the drums change to create plenty of anticipation. Then, it’s pure groovy synths and thickly-cut bass that’s sure to bring dancefloors worldwide to life.
“This track has been killing my sets all summer. Big tribal drums perfect for the main stages!”
– Kryder, via official press release.
