Tom Staar feat. Martina Camargo – Me Sueno [Cartel]
Cartel bossman Tom Staar brings yet another round of groovy vibes as he drops “Me Sueno”.
This Spanish-infused track has been the target of much intrigue on the Internet since it debuted back in April of this year. After a being featured at Tomorrowland, Tom Staar included the record in his Axtone Presents Smörgåsbord mix the following month. The track garnered a massive following since then, with Dannic, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike and Martin Garrix serving as just a few of its supporters.
Tom Staar certainly has a signature sound that makes its way into his records, but he always finds a way to keep things fresh. “Me Sueno” is no different, with some Colombian passion contributed by singer Martina Camargo. Lively drums join forces with samba-styled brass sounds. Those instruments then join up with the vocals to provide an energy that simply cannot be shook. Put all of these elements together, and it becomes obvious that “Me Sueno” clearly demonstrates the type of power to rock dancefloors all around the globe.
“The whole idea behind Cartel was to incorporate the latino, tribal vibe to our music. After a long time looking for a hook from old Latin records I finally came across the sample from Martina Camargo. I made the record back in March and spent the summer tweaking it for the dance floor. After amazing reactions at my shows around the world I knew it was ready!”
