Ray Foxx & Dephlex – Jacked Up [Get Twisted]
Ray Foxx and Dephlex join forces to deliver the brilliantly catchy ‘Jacked Up’, released on Get Twisted Records on 25th November. ‘Jacked Up’ is a jacking house cut produced by Dephlex and Ray Foxx. The track showcases the trademark jacking beats, dirty basslines and vocal hooks that both artists are renowned for.
London-based DJ/producer Ray Foxx burst onto the scene in 2011 with his 8- track mixtape, containing the huge track ‘The Trumpeter’ which was heavily supported by Annie Mac, Zane Lowe, DJ Target and Trevor Nelson amongst others. Later that year, the track was released as ‘La Musica’ with vocals by Lovelle that propelled it to the UK dance charts.
In 2013, Ray Foxx released the massive ‘Boom Boom (Heartbeat)’ featuring Rachel K Collier, which peaked at number 2 in the iTunes Dance Chart and stayed in the UK Top 20 for 4 weeks. Other releases include ‘Butterflies’, ‘Curious’ and ‘What’s That’, plus remixes for a broad selection of artists, from Hard-Fi to Wookie, Dizzee Rascal, Sigma, Stealth and more. He has just launched his own label imprint, Foxx Head Music.
London house producer and DJ, Dephlex, is making a name for himself with his own take on bass centric music. He has garnered support from Man Without A Clue, Tough Love and Danny Howard amongst others for his production that includes ‘All Night’, ‘Hot Damn!’ and his remix of Yotto ‘All I Want’. Dephlex also co-produced and lent his vocals to Ray Foxx’s club hit, ‘Butterflies’, released on Defected Records in 2012.
